Advisory Board Bios


David Abadie

Born and raised in NY, David served in the IDF as a Squad Commander. He served in Operation Pillar of Defense and in reserves during Operation Protective Edge, entering into Gaza twice during the operation. After the army, David received his BA at IDC Herzliya, where he focused on Israeli International Relations and Middle Eastern Affairs. He went on to be the Acting Coordinator for the Israeli Mission to the United Nations headed by Ambassador Danny Danon. Currently David is the NY Representative for Reservists on Duty. David keeps his activism alive by working part time with pro-Israel groups in the NY area. He is the President of Abadie Group Inc., a project management and consultantcy firm.

Irene Alter

Irene is a retired teacher and dedicated activist for Zionist causes.

Pam Clayton

Pam Clayton was born and raised in Austin, Texas and was the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Finance for the University of Texas System. She later moved to New York, where she served as Director, Education and Nonprofit Group, for Wells Fargo.

Allison Gangi

Allison Gangi is a nonpartisan grassroots activist and co-producer of The Conspiracy Libel, a documentary series about modern antisemitism. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ithaca College, she wrote reviews and photographed cultural events as a journalist. She then served in the Peace Corps in Armenia for over 2 years, where she taught English in a rural village and starred in an independent film about gender and Armenian-Iranian relations. Upon returning to New York, she pursued a Master's degree in International Affairs from City University of New York, Brooklyn College.

Niger Innis

Niger serves as the National Chairman for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). In addition, Niger serves on the Advisory Committe of Project 21 for the National Center for Public Policy Research and in December 2014, he was elected to the Executive Board of the Nevada NAACP.

Nisi Jacobs

Nisi is the founder and CEO of WoMen Fight AntiSemitism, a group that welcomes all genders and races into a united front to fight for equality and against Antisemitism. One of WFMA's initiatives is the Coalition of Muslim and Jewish Women, whose mission is to support and empower each other in the United States and abroad, and to provide a model of inter-faith sisterhood that inspires a new world culture of understanding, security and trust. Nisi has been a 3D editor since 2001 on productions that have screened at numerous venues including MoMA, Lincoln Center, the Whitney, the Tribeca Film Festival, the Museum of the Moving Image, Pompadou, and the Berlin Festival.

Judy Freedman Kadish

Judy is Co-Executive Director of Americans For a Safe Israel. A national organization with chapters throughout the country and members throughout the world, AFSI is dedicated to the premise that a strong Israel is essential to Western interests in the Middle East. Judy earned her J.D. at The Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. Her practice focused on Trust and Estate and Real Estate law. Prior to joining AFSI, Judy had many years of volunteer and paid experience working with non-profit organizations in leadership positions.

Liora Rez

Liora is Executive Director of StopAntisemitism.org, a grassroots organization that holds anti-Semites accountable for their actions and creates consequences for their racism. Working on a bipartisan scale, the organization focuses on Jew hatred stemming from social media and college campuses with calls to action, often resulting in administration and police intervention. Reaching monthly audiences of over 600,000 people, StopAntisemitism.org works with groups that hold similar goals in stopping the epidemic of rising anti-semitism.

Shannon Taylor

Prominent NY entertainment attorney Shannon Taylor has been an outspoken advocate for Israel since he could first talk. The host of Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s “The Conversation” (streamed live internationally on Tuesdays 7pm on MNN.org and broadcast over Fios 34, Spectrum 56, and RCN 83 in NYC), Shannon has practiced in NY and NJ for forty years and has studied in Israel.

Gail Gorman Weber

Gai serves on the board of the Coalition for Israel. She is a retired educator and dedicated Jewish activist.

Howard Weber

Distinguished attorney and philanthropist Howard Weber is the President of the Coalition for Israel. He sits on the boards of American Friends of ALYN Hospital; The Waterfront Museum, Red Hook, NY; and Temple Beth El of Manhattan Beach. Howard practices in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate, and both commercial and retail collections throughout New York and New Jersey. He's written numerous articles and is a frequent lecturer on issues relating to his areas of practice.

Jeffrey Wiesenfeld

Venerable Jewish activist and philanthropist Jeff Wiesenfeld has served as an aide to NYC Mayor Ed Koch and NY Governor George Pataki, and as a member of the City University of New York Board of Trustees. Jeff is an outspoken advocate for Jewish causes and an eloquent voice against those who would do harm to America and its great ally, Israel.

Ivan Wilzig

Prominent musician and Jewish philanthropist Ivan Wilzig is a Top Ten Billboard Magazine recording artist and the founder of the Peaceman Foundation, which battles hatred and violence and seeks cures for PTSD. Ivan serves on the Board of Directors of Florida International University's College of Communication, Architecture and The Arts (CARTA). Together with his brother and sister, he sponsors the Holocaust Memorial of Miami Beach's Holocaust Education Week in memory of his father, Siggi Wilzig, an Auschwitz survivor, and his mother, Naomi Wilzig.
